So whenever I get asked about how the next book is coming along I usually cough, shuffle my feet and maybe give a little side-eye.  Working long hours on site makes it hard to want to write when I’ve got about three hours to myself before it’s time to turn in.  

Instead I’ve taken to drawing again.  I’ve exhibited a few works over in Melbourne and they’ve had a lovely response.  I’m sending some more pieces over there next week - Brunswick Street Gallery in Fitzroy (Melbourne, Victoria - Australia) for anyone that might be in the area.

What can I say?  I’m creative with my avoidance tactics if nothing else.  There’s something vastly satisfying about being able to finish a picture over maybe 3-4 nights, compared to sitting on the last chapter of Net Recovery for … *gulp* .. about 3-4 years now.  Oh that’s BAD. I need to write something.

I just need to finish that peacock drawing first … *side eye*
